patients

We are all patients at some time in our life. Each time we visit the doctor, talk to a pharmacist or have our teeth checked, we are patients.  Patients are the heart of the Institute for Community Health Center Performance. In all the work that we do, ultimately our goal is to help improve the health of our patients and their quality of life.

You, the patient, have the power to change your health. We know it is not easy, and information is changing all the time. As part of our work at the Institute for Community Health Center Performance, providing you with information about your health and healthy resources is part of what we do!

The information on this site is updated often to show the different community events in your area, resources and information. Click on the links to the right to view more information on how to stay healthy, managing your health or even to find a place for care.

Be sure to check in with us or send your friends to learn more about community health centers and staying healthy!

April is STD Awareness Month, an annual event to raise public awareness about the impact of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) on the lives of Americans. This month we will feature information about the importance of preventing, testing for, and treating STDs. It is a chance to talk about getting regular STD testing and sexual health.

On any page under patients, you will find a tool on the right side that will help you find a place to get tested. Check out our staying healthy pages and resources for more information about being STD smart.
